Faith Lutheran Church  LC-MS

Faith had its beginning in Roanoke as a mission plant of the Decatur Circuit Churches (LC-MS) and received its charter as a congregation of the LC-MS in June of 1996. From its beginning our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has preserved His church in Roanoke by means of His grace in His Holy Word and His Sacraments of Holy Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

Trusting that our Lord works through His means of grace in Holy Baptism to create His disciples and through His proclaimed Word and the body and blood of His Holy Supper to strengthen and preserve His baptized children unto life everlasting, we hold dear to the liturgy of the Christian Church that has been handed down to us from those who have gone before us. Therefore, our worship is a liturgical service that has its center on our Lord's Word and Sacraments, where God first serves us and we then respond with prayer, praise, and thanksgiving.
